Wildlife Viewing in Arni

c815d06d-d4e8-44cc-a57e-2aeb67df4b59

The Arni Wildlife Trail takes you to one of the quiet corners of the Haslital valley, far from trails and the hustle and bustle. Here, it’s not hiking signs that show the way, but the animals’ tracks.

Program Meeting points depending on the season:

  • July / August: 6:15 a.m. Hasliberg Reuti Mountain Station
  • September/October: 7:15 a.m. Hasliberg Reuti Mountain Station
  • November: 8:15 a.m. Hasliberg Reuti Mountain Station

Take a taxi to Winterlicken. From there, the route leads partly off-trail through the untouched mountain terrain via Hinterarni to Oberarni, where a short break with refreshments awaits at an alpine hut.

The route continues to Chräjeren and back to Winterlicken. The total hiking time is about 2.5 hours, with an elevation gain and loss of approximately 300 meters each. Sure-footedness is essential.
