Wildlife Viewing in Arni
The Arni Wildlife Trail takes you to one of the quiet corners of the Haslital valley, far from trails and the hustle and bustle. Here, it’s not hiking signs that show the way, but the animals’ tracks.
Program Meeting points depending on the season:
- July / August: 6:15 a.m. Hasliberg Reuti Mountain Station
- September/October: 7:15 a.m. Hasliberg Reuti Mountain Station
- November: 8:15 a.m. Hasliberg Reuti Mountain Station
Take a taxi or go with a guide to Winterlicken. From there, the trail leads via Hinterarni to Oberarni. There will be a short break at an alpine hut, where refreshments will be served.
The hike continues to Chräjeren and back to Winterlicken. The total hiking time is about 2.5 hours, with an elevation gain and loss of about 300 meters each.
Walk down to the Reuti mountain station (about 1 hour).
