Terms and Conditions of SWISS SKI SCHOOL MEIRINGEN-HASLIBERG hereinafter SSMH)

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “GTC”) of SWISS SKI SCHOOL MEIRINGEN-HASLIBERG, Engi 484Q, 6086 Hasliberg Reuti apply to group events, biking activities, wildlife viewing, and guided hikes. For hikes with mountain guides, paragliding flights, climbing courses, via ferrata routes, and other activities, the terms and conditions of the third-party providers* apply.

By booking a service, the guest acknowledges that these “SSMH General Terms and Conditions” are binding with respect to the reservation made by the guest—including on behalf of third parties. Unless otherwise expressly agreed, the “SSMH General Terms and Conditions” apply to all transactions between SSMH and its customers.

Contractual Relationship

The contractual relationship is established as soon as a reservation is made in person, by phone, by email, or through the online booking system. A reservation made by email is binding as soon as we have confirmed it.

The total cost of the booking must be paid no later than the start of the activity.

The activity generally takes place regardless of the weather. If the mountain railways are forced to suspend operations due to weather conditions, a refund will be issued in the form of a voucher, or the credit will be refunded after a 5% processing fee has been deducted.

SSMH reserves the right, after the contract has been concluded and even during the activity, to modify, cancel, or terminate the program or individual services if natural and/or weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances (outage of cable cars and ski lifts, force majeure, official measures and/or safety measures, or other risks) so require. No refund will be issued if the activity is canceled for these reasons.

The reservation is personal and non-transferable. Prices are as described in the offer.

Termination of the Contractual Relationship

Cancellation of the reservation by the guest will incur the following fees:

· Cancellation of the contract less than 24 hours before the start of the activity -> 100% of the cost

Termination of the Contractual Relationship: Events:

· 3 to 6 days before the event date -> 50% of the cost

· Less than 3 days before the event date -> 100% of the cost

Any payments already made by the guest will be applied toward the cancellation fees. Any credit in the guest’s favor will be issued in the form of a gift certificate or refunded after a 5% processing fee has been deducted.

If a guest arrives late or leaves the activity early, and/or if the activity is consequently canceled, there is no entitlement to a refund from SSMH. Any activity that has begun will be charged in full.

Absence due to an accident or illness

If you are unable to participate in the booked activity, either in whole or in part, at short notice due to illness or accident, you are not entitled to a refund or to reschedule the activity. The aforementioned cancellation policy remains in effect.

Insurance/Liability

The guest is not insured by SSMH. SSMH accepts no liability for accidents occurring before, during, or after the use of any of its services. The guest is responsible for obtaining accident and liability insurance. 

Group Offers

Group activities at SSMH are offered once the minimum number of participants has been reached. If the minimum group size is not met, SSMH reserves the right to modify the activity, combine groups, shorten the activity duration, or cancel activities at short notice.

Photographs and Videos

Photographs and videos may be taken during courses and events. Detailed information regarding the use of visual material, as well as consent and the right to withdraw consent, can be found in the Privacy Policy on our website at https://skischule-hasliberg.ch/.

Complaint

The guest should direct any complaints to management.

Payment via the online store

Credit card payments made to the ski school are processed by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as "TREKKSOFT TOUR BOOKING" on your credit card statement. The domain where you enter and process your payment is owned and operated by TREKKSOFT. Please send an email to support@payyo.ch for all inquiries regarding your credit card payments and chargebacks.

Jurisdiction and Choice of Law

In addition to these “SSMH General Terms and Conditions,” Swiss law applies to the contractual relationship. The place of jurisdiction is Hasliberg Reuti.
